SOYA KURMA

INGREDIENTS

Soya Nuggets 2 Cups
Coconut Grated 1/2 Cup
Mustard Seeds 1 Tsp
Aniseeds (Saunf) 1/2 Tsp
Onion Chopped 2 Large
Tomato Chopped 2 Large
Turmeric Powder 1/2 Tsp
Salt to taste
Garam masala 1 Tsp
Oil 1/4 Cup
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Curry leaves a few
SOYA KURMA


Prep Time : 16-20 minutes
Cook time : 11-15 minutes
Serves : 6

METHOD:

  • Soak Soya nuggets in hot water for 5 minutes. Drain and blend to a smooth paste. Heat oil in non stick pan, fry mustard seeds, aniseed and onions. Saute till light brown.
  • Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, salt and garam masala. When the oil separates add the soya paste. Add coconut and little water.
  • Allow the mixture to boil. Garnish with coriander leaves and curry leaves and serve hot.
